Jordan

Hello, Tansi! My name is Jordan Rudolph. I am a 33-year-old Indigenous social work student at Mount Royal University. I am currently doing my 1st-year practicum placement with Antyx and am excited about new experiences and the individuals sharing their time with me. I worked as a journeyman bricklayer for 13 years of my life before changing careers. I am a strong advocate for Indigenous and youth issues and to positively impact people's lives. As a youth, I struggled with addiction and homelessness, allowing me to have a broader perspective on issues many individuals endure. I am a father of 4 children and enjoy spending time with my family doing various activities such as sports, bike riding, art, or just getting out to enjoy the sun and nature.

Q: If you could do something dangerous just once with no risk, what would you do?

A: I would like to skydive, or bungee jump. It probably will not happen but if the opportunity arose, I would take the plunge.

Q: What was the worst hairstyle you ever had?

A: Ugh, a mushroom cut.

Q: What movie made you laugh until you cried?

A: Dumb and Dumber. LOL.

Q: What scares you?

A: Not much scares me, but I do not like rodents. I absolutely hate bats. I believe they are disgusting little flying mice. Although, I do like Batman.

Q: If the whole world were listening, what would you say?

A: “Shh.”   … Just so everyone could be in that moment and have a sense of humanity and peace.

Welcome to the team Jordan!
